Browser sniffing, without feature sniffing always drives me crazy...
Opera has a built-in User Agent switcher... And I find myself using it much more commonly than I would like.

Have you considered Cinnamon? It's a fork of GNOME 3 that ended up being what I was hoping GNOME 3 would become. You can customize it to become a very similar experience to GNOME 2 (By default it's more Windows >= 7-like), it uses GTK3, it has a usage paradigm that most people are used to, and the things that are different are changeable.
You are such a damn liar... Here's a list: (Most of these managed to get over 100 upvotes, some almost 5000)

I've got more if you want them. Don't mislead people.
I swear I proofread that. Bah. *teach
I'd like to point out: That wasn't his point.
His point was that beliefs have nothing to do with intelligence. There are undoubtedly brilliant people over there who know how to program well. And who says that a place that doesn't agree with evolution doesn't tech other courses like math at a high level?
That's linking two unrelated things.
I was told by a criminal attorney in my state that the state decided to discontinue video recording police encounters because 99.9% of the time it was losing cases for them. The video evidence was almost never in their favor. So they stopped.
That's terrible. Not because they were losing cases because of it, but rather because they stopped when they were getting too much negative evidence about them.
Not recording abuse because the abuser is from a particular group is just wrong. That's pretty much giving them permission to be horrible people.
From the Opera's Policy:
Privacy in Opera Turbo
When Opera Turbo is enabled, the service will compress network traffic, thereby increasing download speed and reducing data volume. The service requests normal Web content through an Opera Software proxy server. Opera Turbo will exclude Web pages located on an intranet or by using secure connections (HTTPS). Opera collects IP addresses, usage patterns, and the point in time at which the service is used for the purpose debugging, maintenance, optimization of the service, or maintaining the customer relationship. Analysis of service usage is conducted by aggregating data, anonymizing individual identities.
It doesn't touch HTTPS traffic.
I remember I would memorize a bunch of formulas and program them into little programs where I could type in some numbers and have it spit out the answer...
Then I would derive the work I was supposed to do to get that answer, using fuzzy math whenever I had an issue.
It always seemed to work.
That's how it works in opera: anonymous tabs not windows (but you can put the tab in a separate window if you want to).
As a web developper, I often use this to have several sessions with different users on the same website.
Yep..!
You can also close all private tabs without effecting your non-private ones with [Ctrl] + [Shfit] + [Q].
You can even assign any of the actions related to private browsing to a mouse gesture or keyboard shortcut in Opera -> Settings -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Shortcuts.
so apple maps finally told someone, how to go, somewhere ?
Yeah... But it still ended up not being the place they wanted to go.
I feel sorry for the guy... I doubt there was any way he could have avoided getting axed, no matter how well he did.
I sense that Usenet will suddenly skyrocket here because of this little detail...
I stand corrected... Why is that question still in their knowledge base I wonder?
Because things change between them.
"sizeof int" will return "4" on 32-bit and "8" on 64-bit... When working with pointers (Variables that "point" to memory addresses), you need to make code that can handle these changes appropriately, and to change size-dependent operations so they handle multiple architectures.
There are only 32-bit versions of most browsers for Windows... Opera for example has 64-bit versions for Linux and FreeBSD, but not for Windows.
I've always been a bit puzzled as to why though.
The one day you'd sell your soul for something, souls are a glut.
