SSG Booraem writes: I was just introduced to this via a friend. The Illuminati (the global conspiracy) is recruiting new members and selling branded merchandise to the broader public at illuminativip.com

I tried very hard to explain to the person who brought this to my attention how unlikely it was that this was actually the website of a global conspiracy, and why I thought that. However, like most conspiracy theories, the Illuminati Conspiracy is designed to be un-disprovable. I'm not sure how much headway I made with just ridicule.

Should/Would a global conspiracy recruit new members via a website? What are the pros/cons of such an approach, in your opinion?

I expect to be on chow-and-FOB-cleaning detail. So I and my squad will be driving 45 minutes to fetch food for the company, and cleaning latrines, refilling handwashing stations, fueling generators and heaters, and emptying trash barrels. Allegedly the COL and SGM will come and serve us turkey, though. But, by and large, I will be having "a normal and uneventful day."

Seems to me that 1) they would be better served to sue the government for something that is definitely going to cause them to suffer loss in the future, such as the massive annual deficits and the currently humongous federal debt, and 2) they probably don't have much of a case, since they can't prove that the losses will actually materialize. Seems likely you can only sue if you've actually BEEN harmed, not because you think you're GOING TO BE harmed. Of course, they're stupid teenagers, being put up to it by their teachers/parents, I'm sure, and as such they don't understand that. Great publicity for their (incredibly stupid?) lawyers, though.

We've recently added wireless access points to our Family Life Center, but the committee chair isn't comfortable with allowing unrestricted access to our network. We host a lot of guests during the week for Upwards basketball practices and on Saturdays for games, so we want to restrict internet access to the Sunday school classes held in that building. Unfortunately, neither he, nor I, know anything about setting up a wireless catch-and-release like in hotels. If anyone could point me at good documentation, I would be very grateful."
