Submission + - Aging Tech Books - Keep or... what?!?!? 2

villy writes: As someone who started out programming over 20 years ago, I've amassed a small library's worth of tech books. The problem is, I'm trying to clean out my basement to make room for more contemporary junk, but I'm having issues trying to figure out what the heck to do with some of these books! The problem is, for their time, some of these authors/books were highly regarded — Custer, Petzold, DiLascia, etc. It's just that the likelihood that I will need detailed information about Window's 32-bit memory management model and other aging tech constructs is (I believe) going to zero. Am I wrong? What should I do with these books if consensus is that I most likely will never need them again? Donate to a worthy cause? Burn for fuel? Stack in artistic fashion? Please help...
