just some minor corrections.
CHDK and ML dont replace the Canon firmware. They are actuall firmware addons that run alongside and require the Canon firmware (hence why you can still use the camera with an sd card that doesnt have CHDK or ML on it).
CHDK actually came first and ML used their work and methods to get similar stuff done to DSLRS.

both are amazing software and i actually used CHDK back in the day while i was saving up for my first DSLR and recently put ML on my t3i for a few of the focus features. I just wisjh the motion detection on ML was as good as some of the scripts on CHDK. maybe i should look into porting some over.

this is true but i didnt cancelmy order with RS because i live on a tiny rock in the middle of the ocean and they offered a cheap shipping rate even though they are from the UK and im actually closer to the US whereas the other guys (farnell) that are US based wanted around $45-50 dollars to ship... which is more than the cost of the device itself.

the other thing is that i bought it jsut to play around with and not for any particular need so i dont really mind waiting. (hopefully should be here soon since i ordered in july lol)

I would've beat the shit out of him and then call the cops. that's what we do here to burglars.. catch them and beat them then call the cops and beat them till they arrive then ask the cops for 15 more minutes... by this time they are basically begging the cops to take them away.
death threats to me and my family?? don't expect to walk properly afterwards.
after reading the article i was a bit disappointed that nothing happened to the stupid kid. and also question the validity of the story. maybe i have been trolled lol

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Or even in Mike Tyson's Punch Out. I played this week (the original NES version) and still remembered all of the sequences for the different opponents. maybe i was secretly opening old files. It sure did bring back memories.

Its not about making something sound positive, its about going out of your way to make something sound negative. TFA makes it sound like celestica decided to dump rim when in fact it is the other way around. RIM seems to be consolidating and decided to drop one of their manufacturing partners which recently hasnt been manufacturing hardware for RIM anyways.
