Nero comes with the laptop Windows software has never been important enough to research the best cd burning software for windows as a Linux user the included software has always been plenty good (brassero or K3b) I fully expect included software to do the job they advertise.

I helped a friend get his new Win 7 laptop working the other day and I spent more time waiting for the blue circle to stop spinning than anything else. For a first time Win 7 "user" all I can say is it took longer to install nero than it did to install Slackware on my personal box. (That includes setting up flash restricted ATI drivers etc.) MS suck and no one can bullshit around that. I as a consumer expect their phone to be just as bad as their os.

And why don't you be the first to volunteer? At the very least be spayed or neutered. Or maybe you could never find anyone to have babies with so now your a bitter asshole. Or maybe you lost your job to someone in China/ India and you want to get back at that guy who got your job when MS moved their tech support call centre to India. Or why don't we start with the wealthiest 10 percent and then we could re distribute their wealth. But let me guess mr.douchebag you want to start by killing off the poor in third world countries. Then the lower classes in the first world countries hell they don't need that fancy car or big house we can put them to work on a farm or factory give them a little straw to sleep on then they won't need a car to get to work or a big house and if we castrate them no more little poor people. And shit why bother paying them they get everything they need to live, they should be happy they are so lucky. Then the people who are actually entitled to fly their private jets, or take their fancy boats to the lake can do so in the privacy they deserve. With none of us middle class assholes using up their resources or crowding them on the beach.

Good Idea next time I fly (yeah right) but in theory if I flew again (last time I was really drunk had all kinds of crazy items in my pockets and I chatted a bit about the items I had they laughed and waved me through the metal detector and when it beeped they waved the wand over my boots said have a nice flight) going for the Borat speedo and I'm walking through security with a raging boner then if someone tries to fondle me they might get something in the eye.

RuneScape Developer Victorious Over Patent Troll 89

An anonymous reader writes "Gamasutra reports that a US District Court judge has dismissed the patent infringement lawsuit brought against RuneScape developer Jagex discussed previously on Slashdot. Judge David Folsom last week dismissed online chat company Paltalk's claims that Jagex infringed on Paltalk patents relating to online network communications. The judge's ruling only resolved Jagex's case. Microsoft settled with Paltalk for an undisclosed sum in 2009 after the online communication technology company sued over the patents in a $90 million claim. That settlement opened the door to Paltalk's claims against other game companies, including Blizzard, Turbine, SOE and NCSoft. Paltalk alleged in the Jagex-related suit that it had suffered 'tens of millions of dollars' in damages. Jagex CEO Mark Gerhard said in a statement, 'It is exceedingly unfortunate that the US legal system can force a company with a sole presence in Cambridge, UK to incur a seven-digit expense and waste over a year of management time on a case with absolutely no merit,' and that Jagex 'will not hesitate to vigorously defend our position against any patent trolls who bring lawsuits against us in the future.'"
