Submission + - Sattelite TV in the caribbean ?

I would like to know what kind of TV service is available over there, and how/if I can use an external card to receive the signals directly on my GNU/Linux computer. But I fear the local service by http://www.directvcaribbean.com/ will want to restrict my options. For example I see no option to officially subscribe from the French West Indies.
