MmmmYah writes: "Google changed the way it integrated Google talk/chat integration with AIM. The familiar dual signon to AIM from Gmail chat was suddenly dropped. Two big OOOPS that have users riled up:
1) Users now have to invite ALLL of their AOL buddies into gmail, rather than them automatically appearing.
Even this is broken since AOL users cannot talk to Google talk users anymore — they appear offline
2) AOL's mass import tool overwrites all Gmail chat contacts!
This has led to massive user dissatisfaction and one of the worst planned migrations in recent history. No wonder Facebook, Microsoft and Yahoo are sitting smug on the sidelines."
