Simple solution: don't let them control the vehicle. All they'd have to do is input a destination, and an autopilot could do the rest. Make it so that flying vehicles could communicate wirelessly and avoid collisions with each other, and safety should be pretty easy to achieve. I'd feel a lot safer being driven around by a robot with sub-millisecond response times than I would by some bum who keeps staring into space and talking on the phone at the wheel.

Of course, because every end-user totally has the know-how and desire to write and operate a shell script to sync their bookmarks. Not everyone is like us. Most people just want their software to work with minimal hassle and tinkering.

I liked Xmarks because it was easy to use and had features that nobody else had. Hopefully they'll open-source their code before they go under, so somebody else can pick up where they left off. If not, I may just end up firing up an Xmarks server of my own to sync my bookmarks to.

Also, PC gaming allows you to use a keyboard and mouse to control the game. Especially in first-person shooters, Kb&M eclipses console-style controllers by a mile in terms of adaptability and precision. With a good gaming mouse, you can shoot circles around someone using a controller.

It's only illegal if you get caught.
