Depending on the laws in your state, if your car were damaged by debris from such a vehicle, but you were following the vehicle very closely, your compensation would be reduced by contributory or comparative negligence. Basically, even though the sign itself doesn't have any legal power, the advice it gives you is sound.

And do you have *proof* that they can't reach in and delete your non-DRM media? Amazon is stonewalling all attempts from all journalists trying to figure out the actual boundaries the Kindle has. Given what they've shown they can do so far, I'd be very surprised if they were unable to delete an arbitrary file from an arbitrary Kindle, but the fact is, we don't know because they won't say. Seem you're a lot safer just avoiding the Kindle until they start answering some questions or making some changes.

You mixed up 5 & 6.
The second half of the book goes:
All through the hippo night, hippos play with great delight. But at the hippo break of day, the hippos all must go away.

9 hippos and a beast join
8 hippos riding east while
7 hippos moving west leave
6 hippos quite distressed
5 hippos then set forth with
4 hippos headed north
3 hippos say "good day"
the last 2 hippos go their way.
1 hippo, alone once more, misses the other 44.

LittleBigPlanet Creations Raising Copyright Questions 66

Joystiq's Law of the Game column uses the recently released LittleBigPlanet to address the question of intellectual property rights for user-created content within and for games. At this point, Sony's ToS claims a great deal of control over users' work, unlike Second Life's, which is much more permissive. GiantBomb has a related story pointing out creations within LittleBigPlanet that are copies of other games, and how they could lead to legal troubles for Sony if they aren't quick about taking them down.
