Submission + - Should OpenOffice be more like Firefox?

It'd be great if OpenOffice was as flexible and easy to develop for as Firefox, Thunderbird, and the other children of Mozilla. An assortment of office apps that each do one job well, intergrate well, are nice looking and easy to use, and have the features we need by default with extra features easy to add. That sounds like an office suite that could compete with Microsoft Office — something OpenOffice does a poor job of."
