Of course they'll want unlimited H-1Bs since that's what the Harvard Business school taught them to say.
Of course having competition requires good regulations. There would be a lot less competition here if the Justice department hadn't successfully blocked AT&T's purchase of T-Mobile.
Agreed. This wait for commerical spaceflights that will charge us less than the Russians to hitch a ride is a pretty lousy strategy. The Chinese are probably the future of manned spaceflight.
No NASA manned flights. We're stuck hitching rides from the Russians. The Chinese will be sure to be kicking our asses in 10-20 years.
There are clearly too few jobs for the STEM field majors who graduate, but those who want cheaper labor have a much louder mouthpiece for their viewpoint. The media loves to compare the scores of every single 12th grader in the US to those select few in other countries who are going on to an engineering school, and then talk about how terrible we are doing in math. The comparisons are ridiculous.
The FEC lost that one. The Supreme court ruled for Citizens United over FEC and now anyone can spend millions without accountability on political ads.
That the more you think about it, the stupider it seems. What if someone steals one? What if someone sets one off?
Use Polish notation?
Then they can program with a Lisp.
For example, when we were losing 500,000 per month during this recession (October 2008), Meg Whitman calls for 500,000 new H1Bs a year (they are typically for several years, so this would mean millions of new H1Bs). Instead of being ostracized for being so blatently anti-worker, the California Republican party actually nominated her for governor in 2010, along with Carly offshore Fiornia for Senator.
Is that in the new world, the wheel and beasts of burden were only used in limited capacities. The Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas were on par with western civilizations in other ways, though.
Waterfox is a 64-bit Windows build. They don't have 10.0 yet, though.
Everything was black and white except for that one girl with the red dress.
Sadly it is. I'm in the bay area because of my job, and I'd rather be somewhere that had a better ratio of single women to single men.
There's no way that a company the size of Microsoft does not have pirated software running somewhere. So pass the law, audit Microsoft, and stop them from selling Windows. The world would be a better place for it.
That sounds a lot like the Senator Hatch incident. See here.
