Sadly it is. I'm in the bay area because of my job, and I'd rather be somewhere that had a better ratio of single women to single men.

There's no way that a company the size of Microsoft does not have pirated software running somewhere. So pass the law, audit Microsoft, and stop them from selling Windows. The world would be a better place for it.
That sounds a lot like the Senator Hatch incident. See here.
Unless your computer is within 0.3 millimeters of their server, this isn't going to work. Any talk of latencies of less than a nanosecond is insanity.
How about we eliminate H1-B and L-1 visas and start hiring Americans again?
Damn straight. Anyone worth a damn can get an O-1 visa. The incompetent people hired on those visas by incompetent HR can quit driving down wages and taking jobs from Americans.
The right wing goes after the stupid voters.
Part of their platform is anti-intellectualism.
Its pretty fucked up.
The left wing goes after poor people's votes by promising them goodies we can no longer afford (if we ever really could.)
So yeah, it's pretty fucked up, but it's a bi-partisan process.
The right-wing goes after well-connected elite's votes by delivering them massive no-bid military contracts that we could never afford in the first place.
This kind of corruption is quite common in American politics. For example, Senator Evan Bayh's wife Susan works for the health insurance companies. Quite naturally Evan insisted on a health care bill that was a total giveaway to the health insurance companies. Now that everyone hates his guts for pushing for such a crappy bill, he's taking his ball and going home.
Seeing as this is an extinct subspecies, it shouldn't be a big deal to just take that from another subspecies.
It passed 317-93, with most of the no votes being liberal Democrats.
15=3*5, just like 8 years ago when it was last factored on a quantum computer. Maybe in a few years someone will factor 21. I wonder what its factors are.
version 7.0 RC5 came out 2 months ago.

Not to mention that the National debt divided by the GDP decreased under both Carter and Clinton.
Now, the last 3 Republicans Presidents have had a serious problem with the national debt.
Build in a cost function for the cost to society. For example, when you are trying to find ways to grow the economy, you could have some function that is something like maximize a*GNP + b*jobs + c * median salary - d*greenhouse gases - e* external cost to society, and so on.
And Bush and Obama seem to think getting a warrant is too hard.
It's a naive, domestic operating system without any breeding, but I think you'll be amused by its presumption.
