Sounds like a systemic issue. If she was so frail that a 30 pound 4 year old could kill her she should of been in a facility. The kids shouldn't of been in a public place where they were a nuisance and a danger to others. That should probably be a fine of 20$. If you want to live in a place without the proper areas to ride bikes your kids don't get to ride bikes.

There is a reason why "disabling peer to peer checkbox" increases your speed in the Blizzard downloader from 200kbs to 1200kbs. Peer to peer networks suck, sure they scale well enough -- but that's it. A mass distributer for a PAID service should never use something as lame as BitTorrent. The Wow patching is a great example of why BitTorrent sucks.

BitTorrent is the poor mans file distribution system.

The EPA and congress are crushing the diesel industry (trucks/cars NOT boats) with more regulation.

In fact in 2007 they change the requirements to be so strict that the new emissions controls cause a 30% reduction in mileage and cause the vehicles to catch on fire (all wasted in heat). There is a huge black market to remove these controls.

i think it's funny they try to kill the trucks although they have stacks that are 14ft tall and vent above traffic.

I think a 1992 Civic venting blue smoke is worse to drive behind.

Typical response from people with small minds. How about the MILLIONS in high paying jobs it dumps into the local economy? It isn't like these people are going to stay and work at Walmart for 8$ an hour if the plant closes. Some quick calculations. $5000 AUS is about, er, 50 quid or somthing, um, so, by my estimations Slashdot will go offline in approx... er..

This is why having slashdot in the USA is superior to most other countries. People were complaining about EXPORT laws last week for sourceforge.... the USA is looking pretty good now.

That's a great statement and it's really incendiary but United States citizens are subject to the laws of their own country. We also can't kill people for being of an opposite political party, and genocide against a particular race is illegal.

If you want all of those "freedoms" you should move to Iran.

The FBI is simply protecting the people who give it funding, and if you believe the FBI would side with whats RIGHT vs. what serves their best interests then you are a fool.
