Dolphin?

Hell, I bet more people would complain if Solitaire and Minesweeper were NOT included.

I got a good dose of this the other day when my sister was working with a rich college kid, straight out of China.

The concept of Home Depot, a store where you'd just walk in and buy a hammer, was a novel thought. He kind of knew that, conceptually, there had to be some place where equipment like that was sold, but the idea that people who didn't work in the field would ever go there, and there was the kind of demand to have a store that large blew his mind.

Two questions:

Were they aware of the fundraising?
If so, how long did the protest last?

[I used to work in the jewelry industry.] It largely depends on what you consider 'jewelry grade'. I used to have a nice little quote from whoever the head of Kay Jewelers was at the time saying that he was stuck with a bad investment of diamonds once. The industrial side didn't want them, since you could get higher quality at a lower price, and they weren't nearly good enough to be gem-grade. So... he made a discount line out of them, which took off. Real diamonds, quality that was frankly absolutely crap, but the public snapped them up.
