That's all I have to say. Show me a laptop that will let me run video cards in 3 or 4 way SLI. Oh, and my water cooled screaming 4 monitor system costs less than your shitty laptop. About half as much.

OK, now pack up your gaming rig and take it to your friend's house for your LAN party. I'll pack up my laptop, and we'll see who gets there first and with less hassle.

His failure was in never coming even close to living up to his creative potential.

In other words, by "failure" you mean in the eyes of others (i.e. you), not his own. Because I'm sure he wouldn't see his own career as a failure, especially since he's probably too busy counting all of his money to care about what others think.

That's a great lesson for you young creative types out there. Careful what you wish for.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. Are you implying that George Lucas' career is a failure? Because I'm sure he wouldn't see it that way, and, given the massive empires he's created (Star Wars and Indiana Jones most prominently), I don't agree with you either. He may not have focused on directing for much of his career, but, looking back, you can't really say that he failed.

My impression is that most folks don't type addresses, they get to sites through google. If I want to go to say Ford's website I open google, type ford, and click on the first link. I usually never type urls unless I have no other way to get there. I don't really need to care if their site is ford.com or cars.ford or whatevever.

This is basically it. Top level domains are getting to be virtually irrelevant to the average user.

He invented this? How come I had one before he was born?

I think I still have it saved somewhere in my old "Cool" alarm equip. I used to do installs in the pre-computer (pre 386 days). This was a box, with triggers and a phone module. Event triggers, allowed for voice out, mic in.

Exact same thing. So... innovation?

Kudos to him for a great innovation.

If you want to be a pendant, at least be good about it. All movies are 3d. Height, width, and Time..bitch.

You keep calling the parent a pendant. Do you see him hanging from a necklace? It would have to be pretty big to hold all that weight...

I don't get it - what's the point? With a chili that hot, even if it's diluted in a sauce you're not going to get anything resembling a nice flavour or taste, just fire in your mouth. I'd much rather eat something that packed a moderate punch along with decent flavour.
