"The Federal government has the right to regulate commerce." (don't you mean "The Federal government has the right to regulate Inter-State commerce."?)

1st. Only "Commerce" that goes across state lines can be regulated by the feds. ("Interstate Commerce" is what is written in the constitution, and it's meaning/interpretation has long been debated by both sides)

2nd. The feds can not force you to engage in commerce, only regulate it if you do and it is "Interstate" (the feds can not force me to buy a product, but they may under certain conditions regulate the product "if" i buy it)

The HC bill is un-constitutional because the feds are forcing you to engage in commerce even if you are not crossing state lines.

So by your logic if the Gun-loving right-wingers passed a law requiring everyone to buy/own/carry guns or be fined for not doing so that would be Ok then? (actually i would like to see that passed just for the entertainment value)

"30 or more windows with 100 or more tabs open for several hours."

Your trying to browse 3000 web sites at once and you expect your browser NOT to crash? (WTF! Are you running this on the worlds largest super-computer with a terabit internet connection or something or just some standard desktop?)

I've never had any performance issues that bad, the only time FF seem to crash for me is when Adobe Reader / Flash plugins get hung (mostly PDFs)

I think the max # of tabs i've run is 30-40 (mem use around 500MB seems normal for that)

Yes this new rapid-release, copy chrome look and up versions to match is really annoying. (if i wanted chrome i would use chrome) just because chrome is at (what, 14 now?) does not mean mozilla needs to race to copy them.

Our org. just finished deploying FF 4 after testing with our various app vendors for months (we were on 3.5 * 2.0) next year if mozilla continues this kind of BS I may be forced to remove it from our 4000+ desktops and go back to IE just to maintain some level of stability/consistency (those IE GPOs are getting better now) we will not be following this rapid-release BS (it's the main reason we did not deploy chrome)

Almost 12 year of not having IE as the default. (I never thought i would change that back)

It's even easier with servers fire up support.dell.com fill out the service tag and put in the problem description "Front panel says drive 4 is dead, send me a another one"

1-4 hours later a new drive shows up at the front desk with a courier from Dallas wanting a signature.

Place drive in old box and sit on loading dock.

No questions asked and it's done, always pay extra for business/enterprise support (NBD,4hr, or 2hr (on-site/do it yourself)) it's well worth it.

According to http://www.google.com/intl/en/about/corporate/company/ they are headquartered in Mountain View, CA and they are providing "high speed" internet access for free to Palo Alto (only a few miles away)

Attaching a high-speed link like this is relatively easy (and cheap), now if they do this for free to some uni on the opposite coast or very far away I will be more impressed.

Except with multiple attribute types.

I usually deal with the following when trying to delete large directory structures:

"Yes to All" prompt for Directories
5mins later...
"Yes to All" prompt for "Hidden" files
5mins later...
"Yes to All" prompt for what it thinks are "System" files
5mins later...
"Yes to All" prompt for "Application" files
5mins later...
"Yes to All" prompt for "Archive" files
2mins later...
"Yes to All" prompt for "Insert type you never heard of until now" files

What we need it a "Yes to MOTHER-FUCKING ALL" button with no further prompts!

Then there is the way it handles errors during copy/move/delete prompts (how about a skip option and keep going instead of just stopping?)

And while we're at it quit scanning/previewing every damn file when listing a folder (i just love how the system halts whenever it hits an .exe file that some dumb-ass developer left a UNC path to a non-existent path on my system for the icon before it gives up and just renders what is cached in the EXE itself) The only thing that should be scanned is Filename, Size, and Date (at least give me an option to turn off this crap. (which should already be readily available to the FS index anyway)

If you are dumb enough to rely on this and they don't pay up you get exactly what you deserve, which is nothing after the thieves are done borrowing it for their own gain.

We have known for a long time this was headed for bankruptcy (it's a damn pyramid scheme no matter what they want to call it)

I don't pay into SS but pay into something else, no way I'm falling for the SS scam.
