Damn you. I have about 100 old vinyl records I'm trying to sell. Of course only a true audiophile would see me in these clothes... I'm sorry, would realize that the sound quality from these scratchy old pieces of vinyl are far superior to modern digital recording techniques...

And I still can't swim. Haven't drowned yet. It's a project for my retirement, I tell my wife.

I think I'll wait a few months before I believe it's officially official.

That's not to say this isn't highly cool -- I just am quite certain I've seen several variations on this over the last few years.

In a few months, we'll have another 'leaving'.

Rinse and repeat.

Agreed. It struck me as a reality show, rather than as a serious space mission (that's a mission into serious space).

Hear hear. Churchill said once that we (the world) could always rely on America to do the right thing. After they'd tried everything else.

C'mon now. He signed a contract saying that he wouldn't tell what he knew. He broke the law.

That ends that case.

Now, let's discuss the other law-breaking that went on by the US NSA. The first case is only slightly related to the second. And I'd consider the second a lot more serious.

(I voted 'more a hero than a villain' - I wouldn't have the chutzpah to do what he did. But I wasn't in that position. If you don't like the people you work for, leave).
