What we need is to combine the two to have "intellectually stimulating social interaction". Something like a geek club where you can bring your projects to show-off or have a brainstorm debug session, drink beer and have a good time.

I didn't think to video it but one day when I was working from home I got a call from 'Microsoft' wanting to 'fix' my PC. oh boy, I was literally rubbing my hands together with glee as I fired up my test VM and let them in. The caller put me through to a 'technical' guy. They setup a remote session but then I pretended that they lost 5 years of email they put the phone down! Can't wait for them to call back. he he.

At first I thought I was reading an echo from the 1990s as I thought Ceefax was gone long ago. Ceefax as an information service has been copied into the digital format and works pretty much the same way i.e. you can enter 'page numbers' to go to the information needed directly and it's a lot better as it has different fonts and pictures. The old Ceefax had a similar look to Prestel and although fantastic resources in their day, have not had their day.

exactly. if you want to get fit then the Wii Fit is a means to an end therefore you would put effort in to the games. If you wanted to play around then just sit down and wave the controller around. It's not a question of the system let's you cheat but more of if the individual actually wants to get fit/lose weight. my gf and I have the wii plus fitboard and dance and we really get in to it. My heart-rate-monitor tells me I have increased heart-rate and am burning calories. Now get up off that couch and shake it baby.
