If they can tap into its fierce winds, the world's entire electrical needs could be met, they say. Dozens of researchers in California and around the world believe huge kite-like wind-power generators could be the solution. As bizarre as that might seem, respected experts say the idea is sound enough to justify further investigation."

For a budget running with a 10.6 billion dollar surplus delivered by one of only two countries (Australia and the USA) to refuse to sign onto the Kyoto protocol, is $599 million a bad dream, or a bad joke?

Submission + - Google AdWords Attack Documented in New Video

Aviran writes: "Security software developer Exploit Prevention Labs released a video documenting how cyber criminals are using Google's popular AdWords advertising system to infect unsuspecting users with malware. The video shows, cyber criminals ran Google ads for legitimate, trusted organizations like The Better Business Bureau. When users clicked on the ads, they were redirected to a malicious web site that attempted to exploit a common security vulnerability in Internet Explorer."
