Robert A. Heinlein had some great ideas as to how government really should have been. Actually READ Starship Troopers, not the movie named after the book. In it, in order to vote, one had to complete either military service, or at least some form of "Federal Service". This included Teaching, as all teachers were paid directly by the Federal level of government, not the city/county/state level of government. Heinlein was VERY ahead of his time, and it's a shame that here we are, well into the 21st century, and we're about as socially/politically backwards as we were 30 years ago.

Let's say someone in Europe (you pick the country, doesn't really matter which one) posts nude pics of their girlfriend. The guy posts them to a site that is designed for such activity, such as any of the plethora of porn/nude sites online. Also assume that some Cro-Magnon from Tennessee can not only get online, but finds said pics of said girlfriend. Now how exactly is Tennessee going to prosecute this individual? Travel to Europe? Extradite? Are you fucking serious? This "law" is just a whole lot of election headline grabbing bullshit, that is all. I wouldn't bet two cents that it will EVER be enforced, other than with other charges of some sort, so that when they go to plea bargain, they can be "nice" and drop this charge, but press any OTHER charges that the guy/gal has on them.

Move along, nothing but southern states bullshit to see here...

You really should watch the WHOLE video... when you, as an arresting officer, have given simple commands such as STOP, and the subject continues to tries to stand up, well, since pretty please probably won't cut it, and at the time it was either nightsticks or guns, they beat his ass until he complied, i.e. STOPPED. Wow, pretty fucking simple if you ask me.

Bottom line kiddies... when the badge asks you to do something simple, like STOP... just fucking stop.

I did before my time in the Air Force... you'd be amazed as to how much hearing damage you can get sitting 30' from an 80% throttled tethered F-16 with NO hearing protection. I can still remember the reasoning... "If you wear hearing protection, you won't be able to hear the crew chief's commands..." military sense, I suppose.
What tripped me out was when I got out, and had my exit physical, I had lost about 2khz in the top end, but GAINED that or so in the low end, i.e. sub 4.5khz.
