False. The Macintosh Plus was convection cooled.
A compact Mac, the Plus had a 9-inch 512×342 pixel monochrome display with a resolution of 72 PPI, identical to that of previous Macintosh models. Unlike earlier Macs, the Mac Plus's keyboard included a numeric keypad and directional arrow keys, and, as with previous Macs, it had a one-button mouse and no fan, making it extremely quiet in operation.
I'd suspect that you empty rooms with your farts...
In theory, yes. But in practice, with the varying seat locations in a typical theatre, I think it would be not as effective as you'd think.
Am I the only one who made a model Vickers-Vimy as a child?
For example, Douglas Bader FTW, but probably unknown to yanks and ruskies.
But might I suggest that the best known pilot worldwide would be Yuri Gagarin or Neil Armstrong (or is that cheating?).

So, you are about 4 times more likely to die from an intentional homicide (which excludes suicides) in the USA than you are in Australia.
This reminds me of what I was thinking after yesterday's article about Java security problems.
I think society has taken the wrong approach to deploying computers. We execute untrusted code we receive from the internet. We build complex, computerised devices to perform a simple task.
I think that sometimes we should accept that less is more.
Here in Australia, once an election is called, the government and public service go into "caretaker mode" which means no more lawmaking and public servants being extra careful to remain neutral.
I'm finding this whole debate amusing as both sides seem to think that home video gaming began with the Atari 2600.
We have a system of law that protects individuals to some degree from the state.
I used to think so too. Now I'm not so sure.
It was Australians who made the choice, and Australians who voted on who would be the PM, not the US.
Except that we don't vote for the P.M.
"Mankind" didn't correct the bible, it was God working through the hand of man, to correct the previous mistakes of man which happened when said omniscient God wasn't watching!
