Bob is part of the Mafia, and some of Bobs friends have made it pretty clear that if Alice testifies against Bob, something unpleasant will happen to Mike, Alice's husband.

The idea is that the 3rd party must testify, to prevent this sort of issue. Wont stop it I am sure, but there are other things that can be done to prevent it (sealing the records so nobody is sure what Alice said for example, vs some of the other witnessess, if early enough even preventing it from being known Alice is a witness.) Any choice you make can be turned to good or evil, in this case its maybe not in the defendants best interest to let the guy testify, but he has no choice. In other cases, it might be the reverse. Pick your poision, at least this way the goverment has a harder time nailing a 3rd party to the wall if they testify on something they dont want coming out, at least from a legal standpoint.

You keep repeating this all over this story like you know something the rest of us dont.

Please explain to me how this guy is supposed to sue AMC, a company he has not had any direct contact with in the purchase of this "Season Pass"? AMC might be making the content, but Apple is selling it. If I buy an apple from the grocery store and get home to discover its plastic and not an actual apple, I dont ask the grocery store who they get their apples from, I go complain to the grocery store.

On August 14, 2011, AMC announced that Breaking Bad was renewed for a fifth and final season consisting of 16 episodes. Season five is split into two parts, each consisting of 8 episodes. The first half premiered on July 15, 2012, while the second half premiered on August 11, 2013.

Based on the term "Season Pass" I'd consider this to mean I get all 16 episodes of the season, as announced by AMC when they said it was the final season. Apple should be sued, because thats who the guy paid. If Apple was mislead i'd expect them to sue AMC. Stop acting like a fanboy of Apple. Its not like you can go to other sources for anything on an Apple product, so if course, they're the ones getting sued. Weather Apple was misleading or not is an open debate, since it depends on what Apple knew before labling it a "season pass" but you cant just asume they're innocent and cannot be sued because you like the company.

Based on what I can see, if I were the judge i'd throw a book at Apple, and quite possibly find a way to get AMC involved, because my lord this is a bad thing to let go unpunished.

Not that its this extreem, but if you have one area at -150F and another area at 150F, if you live between these two extreems you might call the average temp 0F. Problems arise when the wind changes direction and you go from freezing to death to frying to death. Either way you're dead.

Climate Change is a steady increase in average temp, yes some areas will get cooler, and others warmer, but the overall effect is more heat. More heat is a problem. They changed the term because people are too idiotic to understand that a general warming of the entire planet doesn't involve a steady warming on any given point on its surface.

No, its not indisputable, or proven beyond reasonable doubt. Its just been documented and argued about by people who specialize in the field for 30-40 years, and they keep saying the same thing. We're the problem.

Shoving your head in the sand might keep you from seeing the tsunami coming, but it wont keep you from drowning. You'll be on the first ones to go. To date, i've never seen any kind of scientific evidence that is any kind of strong indication that we're not causing significant change to weather paterns on the earth. Temps continue to rise, extreme weather continues to increase, carbon dioxide levels continue to soar, and extreem rainfall patterns in both directions continue their trending in the wrong way. So maybe they're assuming, but they're making the assumptions based on a huge volume of scientific evidence that backs their view.

What on earth are you babbling on about exactly? A bunch of religious nutters refused to get vaccinated, one of them go overseas and comes back with a disease, and they end up having an outbreak of a rare disease, because they didn't get the vaccine.

They didn't get measles because they're religious nutters, they got the disease because the followed a religious nutter who insisted that the vaccine would cause other issues, that it does not. Its directly related to their false belief, spurred by their religious leader. If that's not a 'religion' issue then i'm not sure what is. The fact that its spread from human to human contact has nothing to do with anything, other than its a disease.

As a Planetside 2 Player, I have no complaints about SOE. I played the original Planetside and I didn't care for them much at that time, but they do seem to listen to their player base well. Each game of course has a seperate team, I get the feeling SOE is more of a management company, with all these smaller game groups under them, unlike something like EA which rules with an iron fist.

I'd sugest keeping an open mind, maybe hang out in forums and follow up on it. If something comes up that starts sounding alarm bells you'll know what to do.
