Agreed with you until I saw you compare US Republicans and the Conservatives in UK. Sorry - there is no comparison. The Democrats in US is more right-wing than the Conservatives in UK.

True - Reynolds' not for everyone. But clearly worth the effort if you like good SciFi. I guess we are the complete opposites as I felt Iain Banks was a bit too simple and hurried.

Actually - Kate Moss is a bad example. She's one of the few that can do the 'anorectic' look without looking too unhealthy.

I've seen so many people claiming that MS tags their legal software as pirated that I think MS is just doing this to avoid the problems.

There's no more bias in Norway than in Denmark - if any, it's less. Honestly, I do not see any need to exclude Norway and Sweeden at all.

No, it's neither. ESA are some European countries, both from within EU and outside (Norway & Switzerland), with Canada as a groupie and a few hang-arounds (Turkey etc.).
