I assumed it included those Basic programs I used to type in from 80's magazines. You know it took quite a few attempts to get them to work. That must have pushed the number up quite a lot. :-)

A lot of nice, thoughtful, intelligent people try this technique and it does work. The only problem is in the long run, it causes a world shortage of nice, thoughtful intelligent people.

I guess the cables have to come ashore somewhere and you can't plan ahead for where ships will be when gales hit.

Come to think of it, I wonder how many cables go straight across the middle of the atlantic. Is it still possible to pick up the internet and slip the earth out?

What I like is that when it starts to fail, it only fails a little bit. Just enough to make them shake about a bit, not enough to through then at a side wall with enough force to liquify them.
