Duh. Microwaves are strictly for drying dogs. Everyone knows not to put metal in the microwave.
But make sure you take the collar and tags off before drying the dog!!!!! I forgot to do that before putting Scrapy in the microwave. It did not end well. My poor daughter cried for a week straight after this. I felt horrible. If only I had taken his collar off first, this tragedy could have been averted.
And yet this still makes the front page of Slashdot - with a spin-laden misleading title.
MojoKid - you are an ass, and so is the moderator.
What is misleading about the title? The investigation report stated: "The energy source responsible for generating the heat has been determined as external to the device". Looks to me like the title accurately describes what was reported.
Squiggly lines under misspelled words for one.
Was that Microsoft? That was a good idea. Sure, not a 'revolutionize the field' idea, but an intuitive easy to use feature.
I looked at this and thought "this has SlashBi written all over it". Turns out it's actually part of SlashCloud. I must have missed the memo. When did that show up? And are we we going to get more SlashBuzzwords?
Being faster? That's just cheating. On reading the headline, I thought they had developed an algorithm that predicted your next move, which would have been much more impressive. You DO get a ~40% improved chance of winning with this strategy:
When your opponent loses, his next move will be to beat whatever your move was on that round.
This obviously relies on playing multiple rounds in a row against the same person. I never play RPS, but isn't the point to play it once to make a one off decision about something? If so, your strategy is useless.
I have never once seen an ounce of hostility toward legal immigrants in my life.
I have, many times. And i would be surprised if you actually haven't. A lot of it takes the form of racism. I've heard people told "go back to ________". There are numerous immigrant small business owners who suffer abuse solely because they are (or are perceived to be) not native americans. The stereotype is Korean store owners in non Korean communities, who are purportedly prime targets, especially when things start to go bad.
I hate hater haters.
I love hater haters because i hate haters.
...and nothing else. She will either adapt or leave you.
Alternatively, there's a small chance she'll impale you with your own replica ba'tleth. Women are rather creative creatures that way.
If she does, you know you've got a keeper.
mine doesn't have a power cable, you insensitive clod!

Man, i was skimming the thread quickly and thought that said blue tooth powered. I was intrigued but also confused.
They've been ordered to block it by the courts.
I love that your entire post is nothing more than a restatement of a fact presented in the 1st line of the summary... and it got modded +5 informative. Nothing against you, I just think some mods have a pretty low standard of what's informative. I wonder if my "You are currently reading slashdot." post will get modded informative.
