I am not sure anybody who can get a driver's license would be able to acquire a pilot's license, also this has been working relatively nicely (relatively as there are quite a numerous amount of incidents involving private small planes) as the airspace is much less crowded than our roads. Also they tend to adhere to rules much more. As soon as it becomes a common thing the number of incidents will grow. Maybe if flying cars were not driven manually it would be less of an issue, but the other factors are still a burden. The roads nearby are a menace but the noise and fumes are generally blocked by the buildings and the vegetation which would not be the case if they started flying over the area instead.

Electricity is nothing special either. Just put two spicy nails in a heap of lemons or potatoes and You can power a tiny light bulb.. It is the application that matters here. We have not had this solution before, serving personalized information on the same display. You have to have face recognition, a service to look up all the relevant information and present it to You at the right place and the right time. That part is new. Not the 'lenticular display'.
