Plus C can get very ugly if you want it, sometimes even if you don't want... I wouldn't take C as an example of simple syntax. I like it and use it at work often (not by choice, thought), but I come to really hate the guy who wrote the code I'm working on.

Problem is... Stallman isn't bad with speech if you listen to his whole speeches. But he says what he think, so it's easy to find pseudo controversial out of context quote. Plus it seems lots of people find it offensive just because he refuses to "round the angles".

maybe, but it works...well enough. When you just have to reskin a game, production's costs go down that much. And you don't have to sell the reskin as well as the first version for it to be profitable.
