So which speed test from DSLReports do you suggest we use?

After having recently had some updates break things in my xubuntu installs I'm becoming a fan of Mint's rated update system.

I'm getting a reply back from heartbeat.belkin.com. I don't have a belkin router to test with.

I'm actually playing through Witcher2 at the moment on Mint, and it is f00king awesome so far.

Maybe they are letting you know something.

I'm surprised they didn't take their normal stance of denial, maybe that was only a Jobs trait.

My 2 year old girl runs around in Minecraft on her tablet and on a PC. Although by her behavior she must have inherited my genes from playing doom, duke nukem and the like growing up. Unless your son is isolated, I doubt you will be able to keep him from minecraft before 3.

That is why most people are unable to update a windows 8 install. It is even a pain for me because I can't seem to push out some updates from WSUS and have to get these from the windows store, WTF. If there is a work around I haven't put out enough time to find it..

Is nvidia using patents on commonplace patents to get a piece of the pie they are jealous the don't have. Or are these legitimate patents and said companies are willfully stealing technology?
 
Keep in mind my next purchases for video cards and cell phones will depend on the answer..

Other than DSL, no other choice around here either.
