I hope that someone at Yahoo has a heart and will reconsider removing Martin Manley's website. Or is it so terrible for someone to express their feelings to others, whether they're talking face to face or they put up a webpage? You would think that techno geeks would be more encouraging of open dialogue or are they just in it for the money?

The program was put in place by the previous occupant. I've given up defending the policies of the current occupant because he has placed the politics of greed ahead of anything else. TSA, just like the revelations brought out by Manning and Snowden, is the tip of a huge iceberg and it really sucks to be on the Titanic with the captain saying, "Full steam ahead!"

Comment No Follow-Up (Score 2) 196

The glaring fault that I found in scanning the GAO report is that there is no plan to follow-up on any of the cases where TSA employees are reprimanded. So they can issue letters of reprimand or whatever and there is no review process to make sure that the agent does their job correctly. And their job is to provide security?

the local swat decided it would be a good idea to use an ambulance to go in and conduct a raid

For which the genius who approved that idea should have been fired without pension, if not summarily executed. Even in a war zone they don't send in soldiers under cover of a red cross.

Perhaps you are not aware of the ruse used to assassinate Osama bin Laden.

The Patriot Act - that's why people trust Facebook more than the government. It used to be that a warrant was needed for the government to invade a person's privacy, but ever since that little rat-faced git had those buildings blown up in New York City they've seen it as their God-given right to trample all over the Constitution. And shame on the current occupant for continuing the process.
