I consider myself a moderate politically. Some might even say conservative ...

This isn't conservative!!! In the book 1984 the government was helping its people. Make them stay in shape and all the other crap. Communism is extreme liberal. That really bad Stallone and Snipes movie where salt was illegal. For the health of everybody. Government knows what is right is definition of liberal.

Maybe it is all in the eye of the beholder. You probably look at the above and compare it to how Bush acted. You can't spend as much money as he did and actually be a conservative. Obama isn't exactly running an open government and repealing the Patriot Act either. You want conservative go look at Ron Paul.

Funded by the biotech firm Genada, Dr. Claus Rhumkorrf seeks to recreate the ancestor of all mammals. By getting back to the root of our creation, Rhumkorrf hopes to create an animal with human internal organs. Rhumkorrf discovers the ancestor, but it is not the small, harmless creature he envisions. His genius gives birth to a fast-growing evil that nature eradicated 250 million years ago -- an evil now on the loose, and very, very hungry."

I think the first centrino laptop is more revolutionary. (Maybe just marketing). Also when Apple put Intel (inside) that was a much bigger step. Suddenly you could dual boot Windows and OSX. Windows users could switch and still use Windows when they need to.

If you have the iPhone you have to have the Blackberry. The crack berry even has a medical condition named after it. In the corporate world they are EVERYWHERE. I would venture to say that > 80% of people making > $100K has had a crack berry for at least 2 years in length (thanks to cell contracts). The Treo phone was not anything. Kyocera QCP 6035 had everything it had earlier. During that time Windows PDAs were also starting to include phones in them. A lot of the PDAs also had 802.11 wireless. I think the author just had one.

Whoa! hold on a second. This place has a substantial dollar value attached to it. Look. I know this is an emotional moment for all of us, okay I know that. But let's not make snap judgments, this is an important issue we're dealing with, and I don't think that you or I has the right to arbitrarily vaporize the ocean. You know thrillseeker, I was hoping that you would be smarter than this.

I'm not blind to what is going on, but I can not authorize that kind of action, I'm sorry.

It is not that bad. At least they didn't change the ending to make it more dramatic.

The rescue ship arrived before the Titanic sunk. They attached the super strong ropes and was even able to keep the Titanic from sinking. Then the "bad" man cut the ropes when they were saving poor kids. Then Jake (or whatever Leonardo's name was) pulled out his sword and fought the enemy knocking him to his icy death. But he cut the last "important" rope during the fight. Jake died after saving all of the poor women and children. Only the men died.

3D Lemmings where they walk (and run) in any direction after hitting a wall. No more just erecting a wall because some will just walk around it. You would have to funnel them to the stairs or zip line. Have a way to zoom in and zoom out. That way you can zoom in when they fall off a cliff.
