Though I agree with most of what you're saying, I don't think we, the US, will lose again because we fail to see them as human beings. I think we'll lose because we're the bad guy here and we know it.

linguizic writes: Today Wikileaks released the video of US military firing large caliber weapons into a crowd that included two children as well as a photojournalist and a driver for Reuters. Wikileaks maintains that this video was covered up by the US Military when Reuters asked for an official investigation. The irony of it is, that having these people pay in to a plan would probably make the plan cheap enough for them to afford because they're still healthy and would be using less healthcare than the folks who have it. The more healthy people you have on a plan, the cheaper it is.

You know what, fuck you... I have a severe case of asthma and have had MANY attacks out in public because I got too close to someone smoking. Smoking isn't just about the smoker's choice. It has an affect on the people around the smoke too.
