I still have an old TI-85 I used in high school and collage for Calculus it feels like a brick in your hand compared to todays modern electronics, but it still works well if you don't mind waiting a few seconds for it to compute a complex calc function.

Reminds me of when I was a kid my mother went through a short lived Christianity faze where she watched TBN all the time. One of the shows (in the early 80's) had a preacher who would play heavy metal backwords and exorcise the demons from the music. Can anyone here name a computer manufacturer with a 97% failure rate of a computer line and then try to cover it up and continue to sell them? Sure there's the margins where every company will have some (hopefully small) percentage bad hardware and turn out a few crap products, but Dell has been circling the drain for the better part of the last decade when it comes to most people's opinion of them. Mainly due to the poor build quality and cheap parts that keep causing problems. I worked for a state agency where we had to replace nearly every single motherboard on our GX620's over the course of about 18 months as the originals kept failing like clockwork.

Awww come on now! Look at the history of overpriced peripherals and how well they take off. I'm sure this one will do just as good as all the others have in the past. The SEGA CD was a huge success (don't look it up, just trust me) The 32x breathed new life (**cough**) into cartridge games. Sony's EyeToy (a.k.a. a freaking web cam) changed the world with it's "interactive, you're in the game" fun, at least Sony and the 15 people that bought it did. overpriced peripherals do one thing, and one thing only. Fracture a market. Is it sad to say I'm more excited to see what the hacking community comes up with once they've got drivers for the Kinect running on a PC.
