And as I've said before, if you are still paying for music you are financing this travesty! Attempting to alter peoples behavior by means of destructive acts (I don't care if killing through bombs or through financially destroying them) is terrorism and if you are paying for music you are financing terrorism.

That is one compelling reason to not upgrade to Blu-Ray, if you ask me.

The actions of the RIAA are nothing short of terrorism focused on those people that enjoy music and financed by those people that pay for music. Just like Al-Qaeda being financed by the buyers of opium and other related drugs. As long as some people are still paying for music these attacks will continue. We need to wipe out RIAA's financing!

The longer they make the terms for copyright protections the less relevant they become. Why don't they just make them last until the end of time and be done with it, and make the protections retroactive until the beginning of time while they're at it.

I don't see it. The tool would be the internet, the computer, the torrent client. I would think a better comparison to Pirate Bay and piracy would be the phone book and serial killers. Both are nothing but lists of possible victims with their addresses.

I think the more interesting question is the if Pirate Bay is liable for copyright violations without themselves actually violating copyright, are media companies liable for violent crimes violations without themselves actually committing violent crimes? A large part of modern cinema and music quite obviously glamorizes violent behavior, shouldn't action be taken against the media companies for these, now that this precedent is in place?

That surely is a poor comment on the quality of audiobooks, when a vocal performance by a professional can be compared so evenly by a cold unfeeling computer algorithm. I can see listening to the Kindle for a few pages while driving but wouldn't think of listening to an entire book that way. This is nothing but content producers trying to find just another drop of blood to squeeze out of the consumer.

My God, what will they do if they find out that books can be read aloud by parents at bed time. Or pretty much any other time. Do you think they might push the government to prohibit procreation? Is this how humanity is doomed to end??
