Thanks for the link.

You forgot to mention that the reactor was a "research reactor" - where they were learning about the technology.

Furthermore:

The design purpose of EBR-I was not to produce electricity but instead to validate nuclear physics theory which suggested that a breeder reactor should be possible.

So, while the Japanese have shown themselves to be quite efficient, in many things, why do you presume to compare apples to oranges and that which actually was (and is in other nuclear power plants) to what which is not yet (and might not ever be)?

Now where near analogous.

Families in Iraq named children after George Bush when Saddam was first ousted. I think that tells a lot about who wanted what. Shesh, I'm sure even Uday's friends wanted he and his family out of there.

That war has granted previously unknown freedom to millions of Iraqis: those billions are well spent.

The moderator also missed the fact that not every politician is motivated solely by money. Some are extremely motivated by power and that is exactly what this plays into: the Internet is another means of communication that an oppressive government, should we unfortunately fall there under (which a growing number of people believe we already have), can 'legally' shutdown to quell their opposition.

While this is not expressly written in the bill's wording it is a potential abuse thereof.

The problem with this plan is how it affects our FREEDOM.

I'm sure some politician will get a touch of "its huge cash reserves" and bow the knee to their whims.

I'm actually SHOCKED to hear the have "huge cash reserves" - I constantly hear about them having cable and internet outages and bandwidth problems. They obviously aren't intending to use those funds to better their product.
