I'd say it's news for geeks. It's a polished new release for a 32 year old platform.
The guy ain't gonna make megabucks from this, it's only sold 140 copies so far.

Did you really try prime?

The other day I noticed that my dress pants were starting to get a little raggedy. So I went to amazon, went to my orders, typed in "pants", and up popped the last two times I ordered these pants. I added 2 to the cart, checked out, and they showed up 2 days later. I spent probably about 2 minutes total buying pants, and I got the exact ones I wanted in the exact size I needed

So just like regular non-Prime Amazon then. Why would you pay extra for this?

Got the problem on an AMD PC here. Even a fresh install of the latest Windows 10 from MSDN blue screens it. Used to work on older versions of Windows 10.

That's not correct. Chromecast is a streaming device that 'casts' media from a server (normally on the internet, but a local Plex server can be used for example). A phone, tablet or computer acts as the _remote_. You can mirror from a local device but the results are average at best.

I run a 4.4 on mine and it's OK. Battery is still going strong. I also run F2FS and manually run a SD Trimmer every now and then. But I'm really only using it for a Netflix/Plex remote.

In the UK we have the Direct Debit Guarantee. If a screw up like this happens your bank must give you a full and immediate refund.

Plex is fantastic but it does not transcode audio (like it does for video). This means when I am on a dodgy 3G signal my phone cannot play my FLAC audio from my server at home.

Depends on the country. The UK has no mandatory ID and I don't see this changing soon.

If you don't give a smart tv your wifi credentials it is essentially a dumb tv. Just plug in a Chromecast or whatever to get streaming support.

Are you kidding? Mobile data is cheap in the UK. Line rental alone £16.99 from BT. Add another £10-£20 for a basic internet package. £27 - £37 buys you a lot of mobile data.
