Comment ARM-ageddon: Microsoft's Desperate catch-up play (Score -1, Troll) 50

Oh, the drama! Just when we thought Apple's M chips were going to reign supreme for all eternity, Microsoft decided to join the party fashionably late. Yes, folks, it seems like Microsoft's been busy working on their own ARM-based chips in a valiant attempt to catch up to Apple's speedboat with their silicon paddleboat.

But wait, there's more! Our favorite tech giant is also crafting Windows 12, a system so optimized for silicon and AI that it might give Skynet a run for its money (if Skynet ran on Apple's M chips, that is). Seriously, though, the AI-driven 'Smart Snap' layout could either be a game-changer or a sad gimmick. We'll have to wait and see.

Microsoft's secret weapon? The Windows Core project. It's so hush-hush that we know all about it. Their master plan involves creating a modular, customizable Windows for any form factors, from pocket-sized gadgets to gigantic holographic screens. If only they could make up their mind and stick to it!

So, will Microsoft's shiny new ARM chips and Windows 12 stand a chance against Apple's M chips? Or will it be another embarrassing moment in Microsoft's history (we're looking at you, Windows Vista)? Either way, grab your popcorn, fellow geeks, because this tech showdown is going to be a wild ride!

Remember, though, this is Microsoft we're talking about – the company that gave us the Zune and the Kin. So, don't be surprised if their plans change more times than a chameleon in a paint factory.

We understand why you are posting. Because if you get fired from Prigozhin's propaganda factory, you'll wind up in Ukraine, and shortly thereafter dead. So we don't exactly blame you, due to the paralyzing fear of death you are facing, but you are actually behaving as a combatant. And not a very convincing troll.

Comment Re:China prolonged its problem (Score 1) 518

This is absolutely true, especially if you ignore actual reality, in which China is the only major country in the world still dealing with the pandemic at scale. It's even more true if you are a troll working in Prigozhin's propaganda factory, which is a much better job for young Russian men than hanging out in Ukraine.
