I don't get it. This guy should be beaten? But the hundreds of stationary cameras, operated by the state, which are doing exactly the same thing is OK? I think the _state_ needs to get a beating.

He makes it a spectacle, yes, but he has a very good point. We are constantly stalked by cameras and mobile phones. I think you need to get your priorities straight.

So you can map the corruption of the politicians. That would be a positive way to use computing power.

It may be a good exercise for every so-called democratic country to do this not only at the political level, but also at the departmental level.

Journalists, please contact your nearby university's math-department and publish the results.

This is a typical "human-replaced-by-machine" type of patent, which has been struck down before.

The whole process is nothing more than a lookup of phrases and match against policy. This has been in existence for a long time in written (dead tree version) communication. Adding "database" or "computer" in your application does not make this something new. However, that detail seems to be at a loss at the USPTO.

I have an application to patent "intent to unlock" comprising mind-reading and intentional software.
However, bugs in the dynamics of intentional flaws intended to unlock locked the unlocked locks tight. I always managed to unlock my neighbor's lock but my locks tended to become more locked. My intention is to lock the unlock code into the cloud to create a crowd-sourced intentional unlocking mechanism locked into a plurality of metaphoric intentions.

Please be sure that the target digs a hole deep enough beforehand. You wouldn't want the worms to come crawling up and arrange for a whack-a-mole session.
