That's the scam. It's not about making ethanol, it's about pork dollars for the corn lobby. There is no switchgrass lobby.

I remember seeing an old 60 Minutes about Archer Daniels Midland and they showed the CEO getting off Air Force One. They have a lot of pull and they are a major player in Ethanol.

Considering the explanation in Terminator about why the Terminator killed those other Sarah Connors, I don't believe Skynet would have even known where to begin with trying to kill John's grandparents. And anyone who knows timetravel knows you don't just go back and kill everything in sight. Skynet could end up ensuring that it never gets created.

If you knew about time travel, you would know that if Skynet never got created then nothing would be sent back in time stop it from being created. Of course the most important rule of time travel is never go back in time so that you meet yourself because that would be embarrassing. The second most important rule is never send a chicken back in time because if it laid an egg you would never know which came first.

What about the communist plot to undermine our great American nation from within by planting their agents in our movie studios? Sad part? That is the extent of my knowledge about 'communist' activities. Mah school hadn't done gave me some book learnin's!

One has to be careful about using movies as propaganda tools. The Soviets used "The Grapes of Wrath" as propaganda to show how the poor were exploited in America. The audience on the other hand came away believing that every poor person in America owned an automobile.
