All of them?
All of them?
Why then do people defend Android with "well, you can root it and install whatever you want on it" when people point out things like the fact that Android devices typically hit the market with out of date OS software and usually never see an update, ever?
I don't have to root my Android phone to install software not coming from "Play Store". That's a big difference.
My 1 year old phone had 1 official rom update and is getting updated to an Android 4.0 within a few months, although I also could also update it to another 'unofficial rom as it has been rooted... Thats total freedom...
So you call up the lawyer and find out that the offer is insultingly small and comes with a catch. If you don't accept it, they are going to start suing you for all the bullshit patents you are violating. You are small, have nothing to fight back with, so what do you do?
Get your shotgun and shoot the lawyer?
Hmm, you can ding the US on a lot of things, but I think there is quite a few indicators that we do quite well on. American homes are the largest in the world
Yeah, but you're also the fattest country so that extra room vanishes into thin air...
Have any evidence to backup your defamatory statement?
Why yes I do and there are way too many to jot down here.
Just check everything out he does claiming to be a skeptic.
No, we're asking you to show the evidence!
It appears though you don't have any evidence...
You still don't get it...
You do know what an ISP is, right?
Leaseweb is not an ISP... it's an hostingprovider, that's something completely different...
Nope, it doesn't sum it up.
The 2 providers who will block were ordered by a court to do so.
The blocking providers are XS4All and Ziggo and they already appealed the ruling, but they still have to implement the block in the meantime.
The other providers were not mentioned in the court order and so they decide not to implement the block unless ordered by court...
Which rulings concerning copyright in Oracle vs Google? To my knowledge there has not been a ruling yet concerning this subject and I don't recall seeing one on groklaw.
Incorrect: the judge in this case rejected all the other patents Apple brought in... This was not for a preliminary injunction, that case is still pending in Germany and probably will be hugely influenced by this outcome...
Before "W" got into office, Texas as considered cool and people actually wanted TX memorabilia in Europe.

This may or may not be an uphill battle for them.
Under track conditions (with one of those jackasses pushing the pedal to the floor), yeah, the mileage on the Tesla is probably going to be atrocious.
As for the rest, not sure who exactly takes Top Gear seriously. It's a fun show, but I don't really look at it for good car facts. Nor should anyone else.
Believe me, as a car manufacturer, you should take the impact of Top Gear seriously, very seriously...
Considering the mileage: The Roadster looks like a sportscar... that's not what I would call a car that invites to economic driving... to the contrary...
Ah well... it's an US company, why look at your own problems if there's a possibility of suing someone else...
You can get 20Mbps ADSL2 (unlimited) for somewhere around €20 in the Netherlands, cable goes for a minimum of something like €50 (including (digital) TV and telephone, internet speed will be somewhere in the same region in that case) so the problem is still (partially) the ISP.
It's always the same with the US, they think they're way ahead but in reality they're lagging ages behind
Within half a year I'll have the possibility of a 100/100 Mbit/s connection (actually I picked the 50/50 solution, don't need more at the moment). Within a year it will be possible to get a 200/200 connection. All unlimited...
And the Netherlands are not even leading the bandwidth race...
