for everyone I know to actually start using Google+. Most people just signed up and let the account sit there doing nothing. Everyone's waiting for everyone else to move off of facebook.

I'm sorry, but the iPad is far too thin. In all seriousness, it is incredibly uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time without an otterbox case or something similar adding a bit of bulk to the edges for better grip. Without it, I can feel it digging into my hands. It's also so smooth out of the box that my friend managed to drop it immediately at the apple store when he picked it up (luckily the anti-theft cable stopped it from hitting the ground). Metal back and glass front is super slippery if your hands are even a tiny bit moist. I own an iPad for all the unique apps, but I think the Notion Ink Adam has a much more comfortable design. When apple releases the new ipads with fiberglass bodies, I hope the back has at least some texture.

Why couldn't they just name it Google Spot, you know G-Spot for short. That's hip and trendy.

I don't understand why this is being discussed in terms of 'fairness' at all. Someone elaborate. This is a chinese company and the chinese gov't is not capitalist, so there is no requirement for them to give fukk all about fairness. They make their own rules in their own land and have every right to burn every competitor to the ground and leave huawei the last standing if they felt like it.

I think people are missing the point. I have a kensington mouse that has media control buttons on the back side. When I sit back from the desk and watch movies, or try to play music from the bed, this is incredibly useful. If their touchscreen mouse turns into a remote control like that, it'd be handy. More importantly, the reverse of this would be making a touchscreen phone that acts like a mouse. I mean with buttons and a scanner beam like a real optical mouse, not as a touchpad.
