If it's cheap, sure I'll get one, I like new obscure hardware designed to do weird things. And that's not sarcasm.
But social networking sites as Twitter and Facebook are free, so the hardware would have to be extremely cheap.
If it's over 75-100€, the only people buying them are people who want to hack it so they can use it for something else and paranoid people.
I have a Nokia E51 so it has the good old basic 3-letters and a number per key (except 7 has 4 letters). Today I ordered a 18€ bluetooth keyboard for my cellphone so I can type like mad on the cellphone.
Symbian-version of Putty + server at home + small, pocket-sized bluetooth keyboard + 3.5G connection = enjoyment

An anonymous reader writes "Activision, after acquiring Vivendi, became the new copyright holder of the classic King's Quest series of adventure game. They have now issued a cease and desist order to a team which has worked for eight years on a fan-made project initially dubbed a sequel to the last official installment, King's Quest 8. This stands against the fact that Vivendi granted a non-commercial license to the team, subject to Vivendi's approval of the game after submission. After the acquisition, key team members had indicated on the game's forums (now stripped of their original content by order of Activision) that Activision had given the indication that it intended to keep its current fan-game licenses, but was not interested in issuing new ones."

I haven't really had anything, but my mother.. another story.
First the phone was my big brother's. It dropped on some sort of automated painting line. First submerged in paint and then heated in an oven, works fine.
Gave to my mom, she forgot it in her pants, goes through some washing, still works.
The battery started dying so bought a new tho'.
Basically all the games on Steam use DirectX, but instead of trying to sell non-working games to Mac users, it'll probably have an another section just for Mac users with pre-existing games that work on Mac and new games that support Mac.
