Without simultaneous voice and data, if I stream Pandora or Last.fm on my hour-long train ride home (as I usually do), then I would not be able to receive any phone calls during that time, and people calling would be dumped to voicemail. That's a pretty serious issue.

Why are they noticing this only now?? I remember the days when each of the 5 boroughs had different background colors for their street signs (Brooklyn was Black, Queens was White, Bronx as Blue, Manhattan was Yellow, and Staten Island was Gold). I miss those days - made it very easy to figure out when you crossed the border between Brooklyn and Queens. Anyway, around 1981 they started replacing the unique colors with generic green and white signs, per federal requirements, supposedly. So if the feds say that signs must be mixed case, why the hell didn't they notice it then??

And by the way, I have seen a few images of the new street signs - they look terribly generic. The all-caps was one of the things that made NYC street signs so distinguished.

I forget how many hours I lost playing the DC version. If they have multiplayer, I hope they let you compete with other players for taxi fares...that would make it even more fun, I'd think!

Yes, but I see where the PP is going with this. If the DS can natively play GBA games, is the DSi any different, besides the lack of the GBA slot? If so, then all that's needed is a new loader for the GBA ROMs, without any sort of CPU emulation.

Huh. I didn't realize that the 3G/3GS still used triangulation for assistance. I've wondered why both Google Maps and xGPS (for jailbroken iPhones) can almost immediately determine my location, but Navigon and Sygic take almost a minute to do so. Perhaps the latter apps rely on GPS only.

I *still* don't get that interrogation episode. It was all in her head, right? But I seem to recall that the bad guys actually got informatin out of her during that time.

Or that episode where Glau is hanging out in the Library with a guy in a wheelchair that is supposedly friends with her yet was never seen before while they read a story about a 1920's Terminator.

Still I'm pissed to see it go....mostly becuase it ended on such a cliffhanger!
