Yep, I am aware. With LG they all seem to add a bit of latency, and some modes have features that can't be turned off like dynamic contrast, frame interpolation, local dimming, over-saturation, APS, etc. Game mode is the only one that turns them all off by default, so it's the quick and easy option rather than finding one that's close and tweaking it *for every input*. From there you can set balances for colour calibration without interference from these value-add features.
Eg with LG TVs, the Game preset is doing less doctoring of the image than Standard preset with everything turned off. Not even kidding. So hardcore videophiles will want to start with the Game preset then adjust from there.
