You nailed it. The freevee bullshit channel on Amazon has been borging previously free content from several other channels. Now those amazon fucktards want to charge an extra $3 to avoid ads on Prime? They're fucking delusional.
Just as I've said in the past, the best way to watch most of the streaming services is one month at a time: Spend that month ripping seasons/movies that you want see and then suspend or cancel for a few months.
I'm putting my prime subscription on rip and pause mode with Hulu.
Either an add-on or give it a configuration option. The video game bar is excess to my needs. I'd like to hide it.
Educated, monied people leaving California to avoid fallout from political policies based on "feel-good" rather than reality? Who'd have thought
It's time to give California their independence and require fucking visas from anyone leaving from there to the US.

New Shelter Magazine had a great article on home heat storage in the March/83 issue, "Active Solar."

I've read a couple others in "NS." That's the only one I can find.
Come on, has no one thought to maybe cut down on the "Clown Car Syndrome?"
"19 and Counting," WTF is wrong with anyone to think that such a family is normal? Why couldn't mental health authorities intervene on an obviously deranged couple? Hell, WTF for more than 3. The planet can never support unrestricted population growth unless the _only_ activities allowed as a society are planting, harvesting, and distributing food. It doesn't require genius to look around and find examples of what will eventually happen everywhere.

The only method that keeps children out of porn sites is strict parental control. If the parent is not able to monitor or control what their child gets into on the internet, then that parent should lock kid out the system unless and until they can actually the monitor the activity.
If you believe otherwise, IMHO, then you really aren't an internet user. Even with blocking software installed, it's possible to find images/videos that most people would classify as porn. That the UK government thinks it can police the internet and prevent users within its borders from accessing porn by legislative fiat is truly laughable.
Short of setting up their own STASI-like operation with half the populace watching the other half's on-line time, I don't see this pipe dream playing out the way they hope it will.
Think about it. We'll finally be able to add real ad blockers!
No more chrome bullshit.

Or if nothing else, force them out of business. No one needs flaky autho.
If that mushhead had not gutted the protections against technology moving outside the US with that one world trading hogwash, we would not be in this situation.
All hail the democrats for once more showing how little difference there is between either major party.
Governments can legislate all they want. The genie is out of the bottle, my friends.
Legislating against an idea is like pissing into a string wind. Sure, you feel some satisfaction in the short-term, but all you've done is gotten yourself wet and made a big mess.
Phind.com has a much superior coding assistant. No wheedling required to get great results. The iterative debugging and development work wonderfully and are probably what OpenAI was thinking of, but didn't pull off.
You can't rely on the cloud for important processes or data.
That's as plug dumb as using Windows in life support equipment.
If you want reliable systems that don't stop working when the weather affects the phone lines or some asshat decides to stop providing a feature/service or otherwise fucks you.
That applies to software subscription models, too.
