I think living standards is a better word for the ability to consume. I count wealth in m2, not in the ability to consume. Land generates rent ... iPhones do not. When land ownership shifts to the top, government has to make up the difference through redistribution to not let everything snowball up.

IMO we have been able to improve median living standards through increasing government redistribution ... do you disagree? If not, are you willing to let that redistribution continue to increase?

If you have a formal education you have heard of his name for A*.

If you don't you will at the very least have heard the sentence Goto Considered Harmful ... and I think we can all agree it's a snappy turn of phrase, hard to forget and by now iconic. Unless you lock someone up in a cave with The C Programming Language before they learned any programming I think they'll have heard of it by the time they are proficient with C.

The silly thing is, this is the exact same guy now saying it was just the mistake of an individual. Multiple e-mails were sent which suggested mixing organics with the waste salts while the company asked for it to be looked at by someone who could determine it safe ... nothing got sent to the right people. There isn't even a fucking decent inventory.

Mr. Conca is full of shit.

Just sue the people running wallet/mixing/whatever servers for international money laundering and the anonymity will go away, the money flows become more traceable. They can still transfer it to temporary bank accounts and get mules to get the money out of ATMs, but it all becomes a little harder.

That said, bitcoin is more trouble than it's worth at this point ... just make trading in them illegal, problem solved.
