I don't know much about entrapment but from what I *think* I know about it, I would say this sound entirely like that. Even if the "friend" came asking for the drugs, isn't this still a type of entrapment? Please kick me if I'm completely off on this.

Glad someone was thinking the same thing. I shoot guns, and play with model rockets quite a bit (don't tell the DHS though). If it has the ability to detect at the level they are stating, then there will be many false positives. How will they know what the "zero" is on the scale?

I wouldn't say it's a complete play on "poor" people. The main problem with being poor is that the cheapest foods typically have a higher sugar content. This includes soda which the poor practically live on. I am all for educating them and trying to get them to spend their money on "healthier" alternatives. Majority of poor/low income families live in a city. City water, while it's usually cheap, is horrendous tasting in most places and until you drink it daily, you won't know why they would rather have a soda which is surprisingly cheaper than bottled water...

It's a success once you can profit from all the labor that was invested into it. Which is hard to do with a project that "never ends." Corporations seem to get the profit right away because they don't actually invest their labor into the problem.

While I don't disagree with you points about the FDA-Bullshit and it's ability to fail tremendously the past 5 years, I really think you're off-base completely one-siding it to a "Republican" problem. It's an American problem, which includes the Dems, Repubs, Greens or whatever-you-have-it. The real problem is that both sides know you will "fight" for a side so that you keep ignoring the transfer of power from citizens to that of boards and cronies of the elected few.

I think it's safe to say that Steve Jobs did not lead in a way that was similar to most masculine-driven companies. He constantly choose to go against what everyone said "worked" and made everyone "change" their thoughts to agree with him. That sounds fairly feminine to me.
