Lynx support would be awesome for many tech support sites. Almost without fail, these now have "rich" interactive webpages with lots of java script. Try uploading trace files and logs over a crappy connection with XWindows and Firefox where simply clicking on a dialog box can take 10 minutes.

Make sure you get the official documention from Ahttp://docs.puppetlabs.com/. I haven't really seen any books or anything else that is as complete and accurate, especially the reference and learning puppet books.

I find the "puppet resource" command is one of the most useful. You can use it to generate a script for a given configuration and use it to duplicate it elsewhere.

Coming into Orlando, I picked up my crappy Dodge rental and took the road to I95 and the east coast, which was a toll road. I saw the signs for the toll booth - 1 mile and expected the usual drill. Come 1 mile and where is the toll booth? It turns it you had to have EXITED the highway a ways back to go through the tollbooth. Anyone who actually STAYS on the highway without one of those easy pass things gets a ticket. I guarantee that will trap 90% of people out of town. Nice racket if you can pull if off...

It seems like every time I make a change to something in the Windows Registry, I have to reboot. On Linux, I usually just have to restart the app or service that uses it.

I always buy my computers with Linux preloaded. Besides better supporting open source and denying Microsoft from counting it as a "sale", more important is that you know all of your shit is going to work with Linux. It doesn't really matter what distro comes with it. just that all of you hardware works. I just picked up a really sweet Lenovo from Linucity.

Actually, there was a major upgrade in the Windows CMD shell from NT4 to Windows 2000. The CMD shell is surprisingly powerful, but poorly documented. The best documentation is available in the man pages, which can be accessed by the HELP command.
