Not really. Wasn't cable pretty much that. A few different providers, all providing pretty much the same channels?
The problem is the cost of a false positive.
Next you know is police arresting half the african american population to "prevent crimes".
Should we arrest the Proud Boys to prevent crimes?
What about people who "stole" the election?
Soon this becomes a political tool and any opposition is jailed to "prevent crimes".
