Amazing books, the hive mind dog-like creatures was such an interesting idea.

Is that wise? That sounds like a bad thing to me...
For me it's any political debate that mentions "media".
My bad, I skipped over that paragraph for some reason. It's a weird claim, it's one thing to claim academic freedom and other thing to speak about free speech rights. I actually suspected the article embellished that and misquoted, so I had to check the complaint, I found the bit that refers to freedom of speech and association:
"In January 2023, Dean Elmendorf told Dr. Donovan that she was not allowed to communicate to donors and supporters her understanding of what was taking place. "
I guess a workplaces can put restrictions who you can talk to, probably not the strongest claim.
Where did you read "rights to free speech"? You make assumptions without reading the article.
It's not about politics, left, or right, it sounds to me like it's about corporations and Meta influence over Harvard.
You are working with the people you have not with ideal programmers that you don't have. That's almost like saying "there's no reason for safety belts, just have better drivers that don't crash". Besides, if there are tools that eliminate 70% of your problems, why not use them?
Not only that they have in program ads but Youtube TV inserts adds at the beginning of the program or at least that's what it looks to me.
It's because sun rises at different hours in the seasons, if sun rises at 4 AM business start at 9 AM few people will wake up earlier to take advantage of the sun, or even if they do (especially if they don't have good blinds) it's lack of quality of time, you cannot be too productive before going to work/school, it's better to have the free hour of sunshine after you finish with your businesses for the day than before you start them.
Why move the hour back in the winter? Because people don't like to wake up in the dark and drive to work in the dark.
It's a small inconvenience twice a year to sync somewhat the social clock with the cosmological reality.
Can they hit a building?
It's not as simple, they do sell movies, they run ads on their Youtube platform, they sell Youtube TV that runs on this. They might charge some app providers for access or charge in-app purchases just like Apple does...
I wonder, is this supposed to be scarier than drones that cary grenades?
I think they made money out of this, they sold protection to people worried about their data.
If you work out you'll also be hungry and eat more. Most of the people cannot outrun their fork (there are exceptions)
Only that the law requires USB-C at both ends, an adapter would not cut it.
