Twitter (X ?) wins since you don't need an app to get to it. You can get to it with any web browser on any device with one. When Threads is similarly accessible, I might give it a shot but not until then.

Windows 11 just ain't happening here. If I'm forced to get a new computer, I'm moving over to the Mac or to Linux. It's just stupid to make people upgrade their perfectly running system (and, I might add, with decent hardware) just to get an OS update. It's stupider than politics. :/

Every time this topic comes up, someone like you mentions how you can disable every single "spying" thing... but fail to provide specific details about how/where to do so. Occasionally, they'll tell you to "google it" or "look it up yourself." I find that very curious.

This is why I keep a Facebook account with absolutely nothing in it, no friends, pictures or status posts of any kind. It's just for employers/law enforcement. My *real* fb account is locked down tighter than hell. :) /Moiself
